Itinerary
- Day 1 — Arrive Kigali; Genocide Memorial and city tour.
- Day 2 — Akagera: game drive through the lakes region, sunset boat safari, night drive. Overnight in-park.
- Day 3 — Full-day game drive to the Kilala Plains for lion, elephant and rhino; second night in the park.
- Day 4 — Cross the country to Nyungwe Forest via Nyanza’s royal palace. Overnight Gisakura.
- Day 5 — Dawn chimpanzee tracking; afternoon canopy walkway and waterfall trail.
- Day 6 — Follow Lake Kivu’s shoreline north to Rubavu; afternoon on the beach. Overnight lakeside.
- Day 7 — Short drive to Musanze; gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park.
- Day 8 — Golden monkey trek at dawn, return to Kigali for departure.
